Pneumatic foot module
The invention used in the design of the module was awarded with the gold medal of the 45th World Salon of Invention, Scientific Research and industrial innovation "Brussel-Eureka-96" in 1996 and with the silver medal in the 25th International Salon of Innovation "Geneva-97" in 1997.
The universal artificial pneumatic foot is one of an advanced design.
There is a capability of foot fullness adjusting. The sole stiffness adjusting depends on the features and needs of amputees are provided by the air pumping or discharging through the refueling valve located on the upper platform of a foot. It provides comfortability when walking and adaptation to different conditions of motions.
The full production of woman's pneumatic foot modules is planned to begin in 2002.
Sports trans-tibial prosthesis
The invention used in the design of the prosthesis was awarded with the bronze medal of the 47th World Salon of Invention, Scientific Research and industrial innovation "Brussel-Eureka-96" in 1996.
The prosthesis is designed for amputees weighting up to 100 kg to go in for track and field athletics.
9A 024 universal foot module (sizes from 25 to 28) is used in prosthesis.
The elastic reinforcement brace molded to a foot cover formed load-bearing unit of inner cavity of foot.
10A 028 sports prosthesis package consists of:- 10A 028.1 alignment & connection module. A&CM base frame is fabricated of 3 dimension-types;- supporting bars: front bar (3 pcs), 10A 028.3 back bar (2 pcs).- bumper device 10A 028.4.
4A 053D child's rotator
The invention used in the design of the rotator was awarded with the bronze medal of the 45th World Salon of Invention, Scientific Research and industrial innovation "Brussel-Eurika-96" in 1996.
The rotator is designed for children weighing up to 45 kg for trans-tibial and trans-femoral prostheses of all level of amputation.
It is intended to unload the rotation moments affecting a stump when walking.
The rotation angle is 15°±2°.
The rotation moment is adjustable. Adjusting range of rotation moment is from 0 to 6,5 N.m.
They are fabricated from aluminum and titanium alloys.
Mass - 270 g.
5A 035 rocker knee module
The invention used in the design of the module was awarded with the gold medal with honour of the 44th World Salon of Invention, Scientific Research and industrial innovation "Brussel-Eureka-95" in 1995.
The rocker knee modules is designed for amputees weighing up to 100 kg.
The module has a device which enables to adjust the rate of knee flexion.
It is possible to adjust this module together with a weight-bearing module within the limits of ±7 degrees at the expense of turn of the non-coaxial bushings located in the lower part of the module frame.
The maximum flexion angle - 135°.
The main details are fabricated from titanium and aluminum alloys.
There are two variants of module:
- 5A 035-01 module has a petal adapter. It is designed for knee joint amputees.
Mass - 875 g.
- 5A 035-02 module has a supporting area. It is designed for hip amputees.
Mass - 790 g.
5A 039 single axis knee module with locking under load
The invention used in the design of the module was awarded with the gold medal of the 46th World Salon of Invention, Scientific Research and industrial innovation "Brussel-Eureka-97" in 1997 and with the silver medal in the 26th International Salon of Innovation "Geneva-98" in 1998.
The module is designed for amputees weighing up to 100 kg with a short and a middle trans-femoral residual limb.
Module flexion is blocked at the flexion angles up to 20° under loading that enables enhances the knee flexion stability at the leg support-phase.
Module unblocking takes place during module unloading, and hinge becomes flexible.
It is possible to adjust this module together with a weight-bearing module within the limits of ±7° at the expense of a turn of the non-coaxial bushings located in the lower part of the module frame.
The maximum flexion angle - 135°.
The main details are fabricated from titanium and aluminum alloys and steel.
Mass - 755 g.
6A 006D child's hip joint module
The invention used in the design of the module was awarded with the gold medal of the 47th World Salon of Invention, Scientific Research and industrial innovation "Brussel-Eureka-98" in 1997.
The module is designed for children weighing up to 45 kg, hip joint disarticulation and hemipelvectomy amputees.
The module provides high functionality and allows rotation motions in the hip joint when walking.
There is the strength and angle adjusting device of module flexing.
Range of flexion angle when walking - from 0° to 15°.
Flexion angle when sitting - 135°.
The module is fabricated from titanium and aluminum alloys.
Mass - 1050 g.
9A 010 man's foot module with sizes from 25 to 28
The invention used in the design of the module was awarded with the silver medal of the 44th World Salon of Invention, Scientific Research and industrial innovation "Brussel-Eureka-95" in 1995.
There is a hinge module with variable stiffness heel bumpers (3 numbers of changeable stiffness heel bumpers: soft, medium, rigid).
The stiffness of the heel section can also be altered by varying the tightness of an adjustable nut.
The module has a supporting insert increasing foot elasticity and durability and console.
The plate position is adjusted to provide a required stiffness of the fore-part of foot and "toe-off" phase of gait conditions depending on the amputee's weight and dynamics.
The adapter are fabricated from titanium alloy.
9A 010.1 man's foot module with sizes from 25 to 28
The invention used in module design was awarded with silver medal in 47th World Salon of Invention, Scientific Research and industrial innovation "Brussel-Eurika-98" in 1998.
The module is similar to 9A 010 module in structure and materials.
It differs in that it has the sliding stop displacement device which defines the optimal sliding stop position for an amputee.
The mechanism provides the possibility of adjusting the "toe-off" point to different boots.
The module may be used as a technological one. 9A 010.1 module may be changed by the same 9A 010 module in prosthesis in which the sliding stop is in the similar position as in 9A 010.1.
9A 011D child's foot module
The invention used in the design of the module was awarded with the bronze medal of the 45th World Salon of Invention, Scientific Research and industrial innovation "Brussel-Eureka-96" in 1996.
The module is designed for children weighing up to 45 kg, sizes from 20 to 22.
The supporting insert increases foot elasticity and foot durability.
The foot module has a universal adapter with a central and a peripheral bumpers which provide stiffness adjustment in the sagittal plane and the pronation-supination direction.
The adapter bushing allows changing of the weight-bearing tube inclination to the sleeve's longitudinal axis up to ±5°.
The central bumper frame and adapters are fabricated from aluminum alloy, spherical head is fabricated from titanium alloy.
